The human brain is the most delicate machine in our body. It is capable of doing miracles if used perfectly. But it is said that an average human being uses only 10 percent of his brain. We normally don't do anything special to make our brain sharper. There are some activities which can enhance the efficiency of the brain. A few of them are enlisted here.
1. Reverse counting- Just after getting up in morning sit on your bed and start counting numbers in reverse order.i..e. from 100 to 1.This activity seems too simple but it will help you to awaken your brain and make it active.
2. Morning walk-It is proven through experiments that exposure to blue light enhances the activity of brain and sun rays have an ample amount of blue light. So make it a habit to go out for a walk in the morning. At least 10 minutes of walk per day will make your brain efficient for the whole day.
3. Use opposite hands- Our brain is divided into two parts. Right brain and left brain. One part of our brain is more dominant than others. Some people are right brained and some are left and the most common way to know this is by hands. People who are left-handed are right brained and vice versa. But through practice, we can make both parts of the brain act equally. This can be done by using your less active hand more than your other hand. If you write by right hand try to write with your opposite hand. Regular practice of your opposite hand will slowly enhance the activity of less active part of your brain.
4. Remembering- Before going to sleep try to write down whatever you have done during the whole day in proper sequence. Try to remember what you have done when you got up in the morning and what was the second thing after that and so on. Initially, you will see that you forgot many tasks which you have done from morning till night but gradually you will be able to remember all the things in sequence.
5. Take time for a hobby- Develop a hobby like Music, Drawing, Sports or dancing. You can choose anyone from the list which involves some creativity. Doing something creative every day works as a tonic for your brain. It also helps in healing the damaged neurons. Creative energy makes your brain more skillful and helps to release stress.
