“It took me 17 years & 114 days to become an overnight success” – Lionel Messi
Failure is the first step towards success. Many people give up when they face little setbacks in life while quite a few of them persist and never let their failures dominate their life. Eventually, they get success. Every successful man today was an utter failure once in his life. Mahatma Gandhi failed as a lawyer. Abraham Lincoln got defeated 11 times before winning the presidential election, Steve jobs was thrown out from his own company. There are many examples of people who got success after failing many times. They didn't give up and they made steps from the stones on their path and today the whole world gets inspired by life stories of such people.

The legend of Bollywood movies The great Amitabh Bachchan faced many failures. When he entered into movies his first 7 movies were flop and people were not giving him work. But he kept struggling and became an angry young man of Bollywood. When he joined politics he could not win the seat and people rejected him. Once again he returned into movies and worked hard to regain his position. He also opened a company ABCL which failed and he was burdened with huge debts. He didn't give up, Worked again and returned all the money he owed. He faced many hardships but never lost his dignity and integrity. Today he is known for his honesty and dedication towards his work. His politeness and humility is an example which is given to all young actors in Bollywood.

The best success stories always begin with failures. Most prolific Indian novelist Chetan Bhagat started thinking that he is not made top become writer when he couldn't get publishers for his first book. He had decided to rejoin his old job of investment banking, However, today he is the most successful author and movies are made on his stories.

Swami Vivekanand had to sleep on the footpath when he went to Chicago for joining a conference. He was not having enough clothes to prevent himself from the cold weather. But once he delivered his most famous speech he became the most successful religious speaker and people from all over the world started following him.

Author of Harry Potter series, J.K.Rowling got rejected by 12 publishers but she never gave up and now harry potter is the bestseller all over the world.

Walt Disney was fired from his job saying that he was not creative enough Disney went on to win 22 academy awards (the most ever!) plus 4 honoraries, taking the tally to 26. He’s also the most Oscar-nominated person in history with a total of 59. From getting fired to becoming filthy rich for the same reason he was fired for, success stories like Disney’s should be taught in school.

There are many examples of people becoming successful after facing many setbacks, hurdles, rejections and struggles in their life. One thing which is commom to all of them is that they never let their fire die. They struggled to achive whatever they wanted and never compromised with less. If you keep your fire within you alive and go on walking on your chosen path, one-day success automatically comes running after you and this is a proven fact.

So always be optimistic and work hard till you succeed.
