"Me-Too" movement- An eye opener

In a country like India, where sex is still a taboo and still not a thing to talk about in public, a movement like 'me too' has brought out the dirty reality of fakes existing in our society. India is a country where celibacy is divine and a sex which is just a natural process is considered anything which is condemnable. However, people who call themselves cultured and pious themselves indulge in these activities and this is the dark reality which was hidden till date. India is a country where women are worshipped as a goddess and on the other hand it is the country where a maximum number of crimes are reported per year against women in the world.
But now the tables are turning as many women have shown courage to come ahead and speak out in public against the physical and mental torture against them. Now suddenly the men who had put on the mask of nice and cultured people have been exposed and a lot of respected celebrities are under the media trial.
Men like Aloknath, Subhash Ghai, Nana Patekar and many more who were the most sought-after faces have lost their dignity and credibility. however there are no proofs till now against them.whether they are guilty or not, will be proved one day. But one thing is clear that it is a lesson for those who think that they are powerful and at the position to exploit anybody without being caught.
Me too movement has exposed the hypocrisy of our society. A lot of allegations may be fake but few of them have some reality. Now the question arises why these kinds of acts happen in our society and what is the solution. Where we have gone wrong. There are strict rules and legal proceedings for crime against women, but the law is not able to stop such crimes and the rate of such crimes is going on increasing every day.
Now the time has come when we must sit and rethink what is the root cause of these crimes. Are we just applying for medicine on the wound, but not treating the cause of infection. According to me, the reason is far deeper than we think. As per our tradition and culture, we have been taught since our childhood that sex is a condemnable thing and we should not think about it.we should not look at the women with ill intention. As a result, we grow up with a complex in our mind because it is just a normal need like food and water but we think of it as an unnecessary thing. So there has always been a conflict between body and mind. We restrict ourselves to show that we are good human beings, but inside us, this volcano goes on boiling and one day it explodes, becomes out of control and then such things like rapes and harassments happen.

So as far as I think the solution to the problem is to become natural and stop condemning sex. It is a divine and beautiful act as it gives birth to life and anything which gives us life can never be a bad thing. Once humanity accepts it as a natural phenomenon, slowly everything will become normal. then only women will get the respect she deserves and then only the human will become truly cultured.
