" Sarve bhavantu sukhinah,Sarve santu niramayah......."
This is a famous Sanskrit shlok(hymn) which means: may everybody remain happy, may everyone remain healthy....this is a prayer to God that everybody should live the life to his fullest.
But with the advancement of technology, we are becoming too lazy because everything is done by machines.we get up by the sound of alarm in the morning. our house is cleaned by a vacuum cleaner, our clothes are washed in machines, we reach to our workplace sitting in AC cars. We spend our day sitting in front of a computer. When we are not using the computer we dig ourselves in the cell phone.
If you analyze your daily routine you will find that you are not using your body at all.you are not doing any physical activity the whole day. and you will have to pay a huge price one day for this negligence.
So we need to change our lifestyle. And it becomes must after the age of thirty as after this age entropy of your system starts increasing and now is the time when you need to work more for the maintenance.
So here are some tips which can help you to keep yourself healthy and happy for the rest of your life.
1. keep at least 30 minutes per day for the workout: Yes it is necessary. I know we are always short of time. We are in a competitive world.we have to rush as soon as we leave our bed but once you make it a habit it becomes easy. Just rotate and stretch your body as soon as you get up. Walk a few steps while brushing. Just jump for 2 or 3 minutes, bend yourself a little bit. Only 30 minutes are enough to increase the flexibility of your body and help to burn a few calories. You will remain fresh and active for the remaining day.
2. Take time for meditation- Stress, frustration, work pressure, tension...these are the words which are very common these days. and meditation is the only answer to all these problems. Just sit silently for at least 15 minutes everyday, and I promise you that it will change the quality of your life. Silence is a great healer. all your worries will start decreasing if you practice silence regularly
3. Eat Healthily- Now everybody knows about healthy food.and you will find a lot of information about healthy food items everywhere. fruits, vegetables, milk, eggs and everything which improves your health must be part of your diet.you can include sprouts in your breakfast.it is difficult and time taking and to leave the temptation of oily and spicy stuff is not at all easy but remember--- you have no choice.
4. have fun- Life is a celebration but we have forgotten to celebrate. We are so much obsessed with earning money that we have no time to use that money and we go on losing the precious moments. So enjoy each and every moment of your life, enjoy your work. Go out with friends and family and have fun.
5. Be thankful- Life is a precious gift given to us by God. Have you ever noticed that most of the time we are complaining about the wrong things in our life, but there are a lot of things you have received as a gift. There are many things which you always take for granted.you are never grateful for those things.so search and you will find many things to be thankful for.
