1. Believe in yourself
God never makes xerox copies. Everyone in this world is unique. Everyone has different abilities. Everybody is designed to do some particular tasks. The problem arises when we start comparing ourselves with others. If the flower of marigold starts comparing himself with rose and tries to become rose, it can't become. It will start wilting in this effort. Both flowers have unique colors, a unique fragrance. It doesn't matter how much effort marigold makes to become rose, it cant bring the fragrance and color of rose from itself. Both flowers are beautiful because of their difference. So is applicable to humans. Try to understand your unique qualities and work to improve them in spite of imitating others.
2. Prepare
Once you find out the unique strength you need to develop it. Practice makes a man perfect and this perfection boosts up your confidence. To improve your knowledge in your chosen field and work hard to prepare yourself in that field. Once you have gained enough knowledge you will become confident.
3. Accept challenges
The only way to conquer your fears is to face them. Once you start accepting challenges instead of running away from them, you will find that those challenges were not as hard as you were thinking them to be. If you want to learn to swim you will have to jump in the water. You can't learn swimming just sitting outside the river. So start taking little challenges every day and as you will go on conquering those small challenges you will become confident enough to face more tough challenges ahead.
4. Avoid negativity
Don't let the negative people distract you. Practice remaining positive in every situation. Read some motivational stuff every day. Watch inspiring movies. Follow the life of great and successful people. Once you start following positive things, slowly the negativity will start going away from your life and you will become confident day by day.
5.Practice Gratitude
Always remain grateful for the gifts you have received. Never complain about things you don't possess. And you will find there are many things around you which are not available to others. So always say thank you to god for being so generous to you. Gratitude helps to build positivity and self-confidence in life.
6. Body language
Fake it till you make it. Observe the body language of positive people, And try to develop your body language. Walk with confidence, keep smiling, meet everyone warmly. Show the gestures of confidence on your face. Wear nice clothes suitable for the occasion. Once you change your body language people will start appreciating you and you will automatically become more confident
